We were a small group, therefore the trip was very personal. Sonia picked us up on time, and on the 40min drive gave us great details about the wine region around Bordeaux. We did a small tour in Saint-Émilion and later on visited two chateaux. It was lovely so get more insights into wine making and also taste it. It was an enjoyable tour, I would recommend!

Traveled to France from the USA, and I cannot recommend this experience enough. The meeting place was easily located and Sonia was instantly welcoming. The pacing of the day was perfect: an easy, informative drive and then a slow-paced tour through beautiful Saint Emilion.

The two wineries/vineyards were beautiful, and we found the experience to be perfect. We did the morning tour and felt like we experienced the countryside and wine and still had the rest of the day to relax and enjoy the city.

Sonia was friendly, informative, and so welcoming. If you're in Bordeaux and interested in their wine (and let's be real: who isn't??), this is a fantastic experience.

Notre guide Sonia, nous attendait (petit groupe de 7 personnes) à un lieu de rencontre prédéterminé et nous sommes partis de Bordeaux à l'heure prévue. Sonia nous a informé sur l’histoire du vin, tant en français qu’en anglais et elle connaît très bien la région bordelaise. Nous avons visité deux châteaux et fait la dégustations de différents vins. Nous recommandons vivement cette excursion à St-Émilion.

I enjoyed touring picturesque vineyards, learning about rich history of the area, and exceptional Bordeaux wines

Really enjoyable despite the wet weather! Sonia was an excellent guide providing good information. The two family run vineyards provided friendly and enjoyable tastings of various wines of different grape varieties and prices. There was no pressure to buy wine although I’m taking back a couple of St Émilion Grand Cru; it’s nice to be able to buy from the vineyard having heard about their passion for their wine.

Outstanding tour! Our guide, Christine was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. She shared fascinating information about the wine and history of Bordeaux wines and St.Emilion in particular. Our small group of 8 was welcomed warmly to tastings in two St. Emilion wineries where the owner-representatives described the history and process of wine production on their estates. Both were friendly and charming. Wine was offered for sale, but there was no pressure at all to buy. We ended with a visit to the beautiful town of St.Emilion, where Catherine shared more local history and we had some time on our own to shop and wander. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough. La visite était complète et très intéressante ! On a pu visiter deux vignobles aux profils différents, goûter plusieurs vins, et en apprendre énormément sur la confection de vin.
La visite a été faite en français et en anglais, avec un anglais très compréhensible.

Our guide was great. She told us about the whole region of Bordeaux and its wines. The wines we tasted were great and we visited different types of challets each with a different process of making wine. I highly recommend the tour to everyone who loves wine and wants to see a little of the village Saint Emilion.

The tour was amazing, very complete and with good tastings, we were given very interesting information about the wine process and local wines, the places visited were very beautiful and with a good amount of tastings ( 6 in total). The start of the tour was on time and the maximum number of people was respected, which made it quite comfortable. All the booking process was very good and easy.
Sonia, our guide, was very kind and knowledgeable, she provided great information for all the wine area in Bordeaux and also great suggestions for food and places to visit.
We stayed around 30min in St Emilion village and I loved it, at the end I wish I had more time to spend there, but that is mentioned in the tour and no complains about it, just consider in case you want to know better the village or take time for sitting down in a great restaurant or have more tasting.

The St Emilion wine tasting tour (afternoon) was very well organised. We had a large and good choice of wines to taste in bio wineries with friendly staff/owners. And Sonia our guide did a great job. St Emilion is a little picturesque village and the scenery around is very beautiful.

Very enjoyable tour. The guide was very professional and a really nice person. We got to know a lot about wine making in Bordeaux region and tasted some really nice wines. We also had a nice walk through the village. I absolutely enjoyed this tour and definitely recommend it.

Our guide, Sonia, was simply fantastic. She was informative and so knowledgeable about the area - the walking tour of Saint-Emilion was delightful. Sonia had picked two incredible Chateaus to visit with exceptional wines. The mini bus was comfortable and spacious! Cette demie journée était super, avec une guide très sympathique qui nous a fait découvrir ce superbe village de Saint Émilion. Après avoir fait le tour du village, Sonia nous a emmené dans 2 vignobles pour découvrir les différents vins de Saint Émilion, et la façon de faire du vin. C'était super intéressant, bon et convivial.

Unlike the tour we took the day before ("Chateaux & Terroirs, on the Bordeaux wine roads"), which was pretty bad, this tour was excellent. Sonia was a very nice and kind guide. And the wines offered for tasting were of an excellent standard.
I would definitely recommend this tour (Saint-Emilion afternoon half-day) to friends.

Nous avons profité de la visite guidée à St. Emilion! L'organisation a été très professionelle. Pendant la tour en voiture à St. Emilion Sonia nous a donné beaucoup d'informations sur la région et les vins. Maintenant nous comprenons le goût différent des vins des régions Médoc et St. Emilion. Les deux chateaux ont été très différent, mais interéssant de la même facon. Nous avions voulu visité la vieille ville un peu plus long, mais c'est compréhensible il n'y a pas assez de temps dans un demi jour. Merci à Sonia pour une trés sympa communication!

Very easy to organise and some very nice vineyard we were taken to where we were made to feel at home and surprisingly well entertained while enjoying the wine. Sonia took us to the highlights of Saint-Emilion and provided us with lots of interesting facts along the way. Highly recommend :)

The half day tour to Saint-Emilion was super interesting, filled with facts, information about wine making and wine tasting! Sonia is a super guide who is knowledgeable about the region about wine, made us feel at ease with her friendliness, and shared with us so many good recommendations. The wine chateaus we visited were beautiful and the owners were super interesting, engaging and really made this trip a great experience. Highly recommend to anyone, wine lovers or not, to take this awesome tour!

Me and my husband had a lovely day and awesome experience on the day tour.

We visited the first family winery, we saw machines, drank very nice wines, then went to Saint-Emilion city centre walked through the beautiful villa and took a lot of photos. The last winery visit was more quick - they don’t show the machines and wine producing - but was nice to taste a great Grand Cru Classe wine!

Thank you for the day!! I wish we could do all the days to get to know more about the other regions :)

Quick, easy, fun and great wines

We booked a half day tour of St Emillion with ‘Bordeaux So You’. It was excellent- a friendly, knowledgeable and well organised tour guide and a well planned tour if 2 different wineries and the village itself. Great fun and highly recommended. Well done and thank you ‘Bordeaux So You’!

Excellente compagnie de notre guide Sonia, qui nous a fait découvrir la ville de Saint-Emilion entre la visite de deux vignobles :) Par ailleur, acceuil chaleureux et généreux des deux propriétaires de vignoble, dont Jean-Michel du Château la Renommée.

Two of us joined Sonia’s St.Emilion wine tasting tour on the Sunday afternoon of the long Platinum Jubilee weekend. It was limited to a group of 8 in Sonia’s air conditioned mini-bus so didn’t feel like a group tour. In the 45 minutes or so it takes to drive to the area, Sonia shares a lot of useful background information on the wine industry in the region. The first stop was Chateau La Renommee where the owner Jean-Michel gave an excellent tour and explanation of the area and wine making process - he’s clearly passionate about what he does and it doesn’t feel like he’s given the tour many, many times. He then led a tasting of his various wines accompanied by a small selection of cheese and charcuterie. We particularly liked their Maine Rabyon Grand Cru 2005 so bought a bottle (we were flying) to take back with us at around €35.
Next it was on to St. Emilion itself for a walk around the very picturesque village - we were pleased Sonia was in charge of parking as it was a bit congested - followed by Chateau le Chatelet which was a step up in price. We liked their 2018 Grand Cru Classe at €55 but felt a bit inadequate being surrounded by Americans (good to see them back!) shipping cases home with our single bottle purchase.
It was then a relatively short drive back to the meeting place at Place Stalingrad. Worth noting that we got back shortly after 6, whereas the tour info indicates 7pm, if you’re looking to book somewhere to eat afterwards (the area around Stalingrad is not a gourmets paradise but it’s only a couple of stops back on the tram to the main restaurant area).
Would recommend this tour if you’re only in Bordeaux for a few days and want to sample the St. Emilion area.

Sonia is very knowledgeable and was very enthusiastic and informative, the perfect combination for those wanting to enjoy new experiences but learn at the same time! Would have liked more time to explore Saint-Emilion village but all in all, we had a lovely time. Thanks Sonia!

El tour es muy recomendable. Se visitan dos bodegas, ambas con degustación. En una de las bodegas no hubo visita a la misma, sólo degustación. La visita al pueblo está bien, es chiquito y se recorre en un ratito. La guía nos dio información en todo momento, muy predispuesta a responder preguntas

I would recomend it, Saint Emilion is beautiful and the gide was very kind and gave us a lot of information. The only thing I didn’t like was that in the last vineyard we were not supoosed to go to the bathroom. At last the gide convinced the owners to let me use it.

I really recommend the trip, it's a unique opportunity to get familiar with the whole wine making proces. Our guide Sonia had a vast knowledge of every aspect of French wines and talked about them with pure passion.
